Is A Popular Resistance Against The Islamic State Growing?

The men were blindfolded and led to the centre of a public square where they were shot or beheaded

Daily Mail: ISIS behead and shoot dead 17 people in desperate bid to maintain control of Syrian 'caliphate' in the face of growing acts of rebellion

* ISIS murdered 17 civilians after the terror group suffered several losses
* Unknown forces have been involved in hit-and-run attacks against ISIS
* The terror group executed 17 civilians in response to the recent losses
* ISIS is being targeted in its Deir al-Zor stronghold along the Euphrates
* Syrian state media claims there is 'popular resistance' group targeting ISIS

WNU Editor: A few hit and run incidents does not make a rebellion. But it is true .... in the past few weeks I have been reading reports of hit and run skirmishes and targeted assassinations. It appears that there are some folks who are not happy with the Islamic State.

Update: The photos on the brutality of life under the Islamic State are getting published .... Thrown from a roof, stoned to death and crucified: While the world reacts with horror to terror in Europe, new ISIS executions show the medieval brutality jihadists would bring to the West (Daily Mail).
