Editor's Note
Cleaning up my computer hard-drive right now. Was hit with virus, and needed to purge everything. My back-up computer was also infected. I should be back to blogging within the hour.

How do you think that happens? WNU Editor is obviously a very computer savvy person. I periodically run AV checks on my computers (they are Macs) and I never find any bad files. There must be some vulnerability related to the work that WNU has to do.
I found the source of my headache, and it came from a link that ABC News used from the Jerusalem Post.
I easily visit a minimum of 75 websites a day, and I check and run AV and other programs to check my computers every third or fourth day. In this case the problem occurred right away when I went to this Israeli site. My computer became slow and stuck in limbo. Went to my back-up computer and did the same thing .... same problem appeared.
Visiting websites in Israel have always caused problems for me. Their news and government websites are always installing cookies and other tracking tools into my computer, and if not attended it becomes a real problem after a short period of time. In this case the problem reared its ugly head right away.
Everything is now OK. Both computers are humming along nicely.
I do use Macs, but for blogging I find there are two extra steps that I must go through to copy and paste information or images. Best to use a PC.
I have been involved in numerous computer science projects since the 1980s, as well as developing numerous web projects since 1996.
These blogs are a summation of all the information that I read and catalog pertaining to the subjects that interest me.
