House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Saturday that public opinion is now for an impeachment inquiry against Donald Trump after voters saw the 'cavalier attitude' the administration had towards the whitsleblower scandal.
'In the public, the tide has completely changed, it could change now - who knows - but right now after seeing the complaint and the IG (Inspector General) report and the cavalier attitude the administration had toward it, the American people are coming to a different decision,' Pelosi said at the Texas Tribune Festival in Austin, Texas.

When you look at the poll (their sampling leans to Democrats and liberals), a majority of Republicans and Independents are against this impeachment inquiry.
House Speaker Pelosi is also not helping her case when she makes claims like this one .... Pelosi Warns: ‘I Think Russia Has a Hand’ in Trump-Ukraine Controversy (Mediate). The Russian and Ukraine governments are not talking to each other because of the war in eastern Ukraine and the treatment of Ukrainian-Russians. Russia has no influence or leverage on the Ukraine government.

It appears that the opposition parties on both sides of the pond know that they cannot defeat Pres Trump or PM Johnston in fair & free elections. Therefore they are trying to overthrow both governments by using the courts & processes to ensure that the encumbents are overthrown. If it looks like a coup d'etat, walks like a coup d'etat & talks like unprecedented parliamentary procedures, it' a coup d'etat. What will the man in the street, who's votes in the future will count for nothing, do?
If Trump is impeached and convicted then we get more of the people listed below.
The Democrats are attempting an extra-legal Cloward and Piven strategy. Due to such a strategy they could not pick up many criminal illegal aliens. The system will be more overwhelmed than it is today, by design (Democrat design).
Sept. 19 — a 53-year-old man from Mexico and U.S. permanent resident was convicted this year for continuous indecency with a child by contact. He remains in ICE custody pending disposition of his immigration proceedings.
Sept. 20 — a 31-year-old man from El Salvador was arrested in Euless, Texas. In 2013 he was convicted of DWI with a child under 15 years of age and sentenced to two years in prison and 60 months’ probation. In October 2013, a federal immigration judge ordered him removed. He remains in ICE custody pending his removal to Mexico.
Sept. 20: ICE officers arrested a previously removed 35-year-old Mexican illegal alien in Mercedes, Texas. He is an active “Paises” gang member. He has criminal convictions for assault of a family member, and for driving while intoxicated (DWI). He also has four separate convictions for illegal entry into the United States. He also has two felony convictions for illegal re-entry after deportation; he was sentenced to 18 months and 29 months, respectively, in federal prison. He is currently pending federal prosecution for re-entry after deportation.
Sept. 22: ICE officers arrested a twice-previously removed 37-year-old Mexican illegal alien in Raymondville, Texas. He has two DWI criminal convictions. His prior removal was reinstated, and he was removed from the United States Sept. 22, 2019.
