Ambassador’s impeachment testimony omitted mention of Burisma meetings, letters.
During President Trump’s impeachment, former U.S. Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch testified to Congress that she knew little beyond an initial briefing and “press reports” about Burisma Holdings, the Ukrainian natural gas firm that had hired Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter and was dogged by a corruption investigation.
“It just wasn’t a big deal,” she declared under oath on Oct. 11, 2019.
But newly unearthed State Department memos obtained under the Freedom of Information Act show Yovanovitch’s embassy in Kiev, including the ambassador herself, was engaged in several discussions and meetings about Burisma as the gas firm scrambled during the 2016 election and transition to settle a long-running corruption investigation and polish its image before President Trump took office.

WNU Editor: Former U.S. Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch's testimony to Congress was used by Congressional Democrats to build the case for impeachment of President Trump. But now it looks like she perjured herself in her testimony, starting with omitting her Burisma meetings and emails. She may have said it was not a big deal. But her actions towards this company reveals her to be someone who was treating this as a big deal. Bottom line. It looks like she knew that Biden's connections to this corrupt natural gas firm would have consequences on Hunter Biden, and on his father. What a week this has been. Everything that we have been told for three years by the main stream media as true .... is falling apart as documents and official correspondences are being released and declassified.

My take. Rand Paul still gets on people's nerves now and again, but they still believe he is a straight shooter although he is a libertarian/losertarian. They think he is honest and a straight shooter although he irritates them every so often.
Contrast that to Lindsey Graham. No one likes him but a few RINO's
The base does not expect the Senate Republicans to do much. Judging from Miss Lindsey's actions, the Senate Republicans are taking a wait and see attitude. And after the wait, ... they will do more wait and see.
It is no different than a powerful retainer arriving at battle and seeing if their liege lord will prevail or not before committing top battle or retiring. We're in a fucking political war and many Republicans swamp denizens are showing up tardy or not at all.

I doubt Masha is particularly worried about going to jail. It is more likely that Flynn will get a pardon than Masha will go to jail. The Democrats want to force a pardon to use it for the election campaign. If Quid Pro Joe wins, Masha has no worries. She and others just have run out the clock for less than 6 months.

It is a bad gambit, but it could work. If the Republican Senate acts like their Usual "Washington Generals" (i.e. Wusses), the media goes into spin control, etc, it could work.
The obvious defect is that the previous counsel did not ask for stuff like Brady material. That is they did not represent their client at all. They merely told Flynn to give up and "Oh BTW pay us" for that advice. T%he previous law firm, which has Saint Eric Holder as a partner, sat on evidence to Flynn's detriment.

What do you mean? You posts are so sparse as to defy comprehension except for history long past (3 or 4 months ago or longer. Judging from those long past posts, you think Obama is innocent. But can we link those past posts and the one above. Someone might be copying you. And since the posts are sans anything but name calling it is hard to tell for sure which way the comment falls.
