CNN: CNN Poll: Trump losing ground to Biden amid chaotic week
(CNN)As protesters gather daily near the White House and the coronavirus pandemic rages on, the American public is souring on President Donald Trump. A new CNN Poll conducted by SSRS finds Trump's approval rating down 7 points in the last month as the President falls further behind presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden, whose support now stands at its highest level in CNN polling.
The survey also finds a growing majority of Americans feel racism is a big problem in the country today and that the criminal justice system in America favors whites over blacks. More than 8 in 10 also say that the peaceful protests that have spread throughout the nation following the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police officers are justified. Americans now consider race relations as important a campaign issue as the economy and health care, according to the survey.

WNU Editor: Went to check out the methodology, and this is what I found (click here). A very small sample was used. 1,259 adults by phone . Blacks/non-Hispanics were over-sampled at 362. Whites were under-sampled at 634. Republicans represented only 25% of the entire poll?!?!?!? Democrats and Independents represented 75% of the poll?!?!?! To be honest I stopped right there. This is a bogus and ridiculously biased poll.

Obvious to everyone, the poll is not to figure out what is, but to energize Democrats, depress Republicans, convince independents with bogus stats, and change momentum to the Democrats advantage.
IF they win, what historian in the next 100 years going to call them on it?
If they lose, they pay no price.
Did Senator Harry Reid pay a price for alleging that Mitt Romney paid no taxes?
Next poll will be with the opinion of Biden, his campaign team and the Democrat lawmakers. Trump will have 0% of course and all the media will die of pleasure...until November.

Good one, Jac.
May I say consider the source? CNN. Nuff said. They are beginning to resemble Mad Magazine.
5 38 Did not do any ANALYSIS
Five Thirty Eight is focused on aggregating polls that they favour. Unfortunately for 538, the polls that it uses failed spectacularly in 2016. They do not even use Gallup, whose methodology and sampling is far superior than any of the polls that 538 uses.

Blackdog, you dd not read past 3 paragraphs if that. You merely found a headline that you think buttresses your point.
So 538 proves that its polls or methodology is good by relying on 538 to prove it.
Self Referencing.
Maybe 538 can get itself ISO certified without using an outside auditor.
Maybe 538 can branch out into science and prove things with 1 experiment, time done by them.
Wrong. You can make up what ever you “think” I’m trying to do. In reality I just put out the method that they say that they are using. intelligent people can read the information for themselves and decide.
In reply to editor. See article on method and why they use those polls. All polls failed spectacularly in 2016. Gallup being superior in an opinion.

National polls were pretty good in the 2016 presidential election, but state-level polling was fairly poor (although still within the “normal” range of accuracy). Polls of the 2016 presidential primaries were sometimes way off the mark. And in many recent elections, the polls were statistically biased in one direction or another — there was a statistical bias toward Democrats in 2016, for instance.
