Was The Nova Scotia Shooter Who Killed 22 In A 13-Hour Rampage A 'RCMP Undercover Agent'?

A still from a video showing Gabriel Wortman in the Brink's yard on March 30, 2020.

Daily Mail: Nova Scotia shooter 'may have been a RCMP undercover agent' after he withdrew $475,000 in cash at a Brink's office - something normal bank customers cannot do - days before he killed 22 in 13-hour rampage

* Gabriel Wortman murdered 22 people during a rampage in Nova Scotia in April
* New video allegedly shows the gunman withdrawing $475,000 in cash from a Brink's office 19 days before the massacre
* Police sources say the withdrawal matched the method the Royal Canadian Mounted Police uses to send money to confidential informants and agents
* The RCMP has repeatedly insisted that it had no 'special relationship' with Wortman, who was killed by police following the attack
* But critics argue that the agency could be hiding ties to Wortman to avoid accusations that it mishandled the case
* The speculation comes as authorities are reportedly investigating Wortman's relationships with people linked to organized crime

The gunman who killed 22 people in the worst mass shooting in Canadian history may have been an informant or agent for the national police force, sources say.

New video obtained by news magazine Maclean's allegedly shows Gabriel Wortman, 51, withdrawing $475,000 in cash from a Brink's office a few weeks before his deadly 13-hour rampage across several small towns in Nova Scotia in April.

Law enforcement sources say that the massive withdrawal matched the method the Royal Canadian Mounted Police uses to send money to confidential informants and agents - and would not have been possible for a regular citizen.

WNU Editor: I live in Canada, and I find this story jaw-dropping. No one can just show up at a bank and/or Brinks office and leave with $475,000 in cash. No one. There is definitely more to this story that has not been made public. The Macleans post that broke this story is here .... The Nova Scotia shooter case has hallmarks of an undercover operation (Macleans).

I can't find the article, but there was one that came up like a month or more ago stating that Wortman may have been a RCMP asset or informant. In the immediate aftermath of the incident, it was speculated that one of the reasons the RCMP might not have put out the public warning alert was that they were worried it was one of their own doing the killing. Makes you wonder if they knew something more. As far as this story breaking now, Like a lot of the larger Canadian media outlets, Macleans is several weeks behind.

3 angles here, one of them new.

What was his motive?

What does this mean for gun rights or are we gong to go ahead with another katanagari?
I mean katanagari as in nothing new under the sun.

I am afraid of or concerned about many governments, but Canada now too? Sure Canada has become a fascists state with regards to speech codes, but this?

Our government no longer represents the common person.
