Officials and other states have been caught double counting old cases.

If you are pre-diabetic, you are added to the list of people who need to fear COVID. If you have 7mmol/l or over of sugar in your blood stream, you have a good chance of getting thrombosis.

Weight loss and exercise is your friend.

If you crash the economy, you will get plenty of exercise and weight loss.

The "records" don't mean much. With thr module emphasis on testing and contact tracing this is to be expected even if we eliminate the shenanigans that are going on with the counting of cases.

Essentially no policies should be made based ipon either numbers of new cases or percentage positive cases. Hospitalizations are a major concern. Typical Hospital policies are to discharge patients asap yet COVID-19 patients are staying a long time. Why is this so? If we fill up the hospitals the shake down can continue. Are the Healthcare "experts" keeping patients with COVID-19 in the hospital longer than would be the case for normal patients so as to pad the numbers? Based upon prior experience with these people of course they'd do this!! Since families can't visit COVID-19 patients in the hospital, it's going to be harder for them to advocate making manipulation even easier.

I general would give most officials low marks on how they've handled this. I'd give especially low marks to the healthcare "experts."

WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. John Cornyn said during a TV interview Thursday that it’s unclear whether children can get and transmit COVID-19. That same day, Texas reported more than 550 COVID infections in children 9 and younger.

Cornyn’s comment comes as the Trump administration has pushed this week for schools to reopen in the fall, with the president going as far as to threaten to cut off federal funding for those that don’t. In Texas, officials have said schools must reopen in August, with few exceptions.

Asked about reopening schools, the Republican said during an interview on NBCDFW that “the most important thing is safety.”

"That same day, Texas reported more than 550 COVID infections in children 9 and younger."

Infection is not the same thing as being sick. A child with type I diabetes has reason to worry. Most children do not.

I cannot believe that a parroting fool could be so stupid. I think the fool think it is the greatest fun to 'believe' the lie if it will get the Democrats the White House and Senate. Afterwards the fool and others will 'change' their tune.

Real disease, but the avowed severity is more about politics than actual risk.
