Forbes: China Warns India’s Rafale Fighters ‘Have No Chance’ Against Chinese Stealth Jets
Chinese and Indian fighters are engaging in vicious dogfights.
Not in the air, but over the airwaves, where both nations are claiming that their newest jets are superior to those of their rival.
Last week, former Indian Air Force chief B.S. Dhanoa claimed that China’s new J-20 stealth fighter “doesn’t come close” to India’s new French-made Rafale fighters. Dhanoa boasted the Rafale’s “top-of-the-line electronic warfare suite, Meteor beyond-visual-range [air-to-air] missile and Scalp air-to-ground weapon with its terrain following capability outguns any threat that the Chinese Air Force produces,” according to the Hindustan Times.

The Rafale is an active stealth fighter jet. If a F-22 is a passive stealth fighter, the Rafale is an active stealth fighter, using a large array of radar frequencies to counter any and all search radar arrays. The Chinese wouldn't even see them.
Rarely is it a good idea to brag before a fight.

I disagree about the stealth quality of the Rafale. That said, I agree for the rest and the J20 is stealth on paper for radar and not at all on infrared.
Plus isn't the French jet a new introduction to India? This would indicate the Indians still need some training time to learn the pluses and minuses of their new weapon.
I think they've been in France training on them for close to 2 years
