Forbes: Military Households Still Back Trump Over Biden, Despite Bombshell Atlantic Report: Poll

Military households continue to support President Donald Trump over former Vice President Joe Biden by a small majority, a new Morning Consult poll finds, as the president fights to keep up his popularity with the military in the wake of a damaging report in the Atlantic alleging he called fallen soldiers “losers” and “suckers.”

Key Facts

52% of military households—voters who are or live with a veteran or active-duty service member—back Trump as compared with 42% for Biden.

Trump’s strongest support within that group is with voters aged 45 and older (54% support Trump), men (54% support Trump) and white voters (58% support Trump), and 49% of women back Trump as compared with 44% for Biden.

Biden leads among voters under 45 by one percent (45% to 44%), as well as with 64% of non-white voters.

Trump’s 52% support is lower than the 57% support he received from military-affiliated voters in exit polls from the 2016 presidential election.

The findings contrast a recent Military Times poll that came out in August before the Atlantic report, which found troops preferred Biden over Trump by a four-point margin.

There's no manes attached to this report. Apparently no one wants to go on the record. As such, I'd call it more like "gossip" or "slander" as opposed to a "bombshell."

If the source is general Mattis, he is the one who said he just couldn't be "distracted" by what he termed a "few lawbreakers." This is either a colossal misunderstanding of an intractable enemy, he flat out lied, or some combination. Either way he's lost a great deal of credibility with these actions. If this is the position of the rest of the leadership, this would apply to them as well.

Their word against Trump, go with Trump until proven otherwise. Following this rule of thumb gets one in the right plac3 99.95% of the time.

The Atlantic owned by Steve Jobs' widow and run by liberal Jews (Goldberg) colluded with the Biden Campaign and the liberal vets group.

Such coordination (collusion) is wrong per campaign finance law.

The dishonorable Senator McCain, who purposefully and shamelessly died in office could not live long enough to write enough campaign finance laws that would be upheld by prosecutors.

PACs and other groups are not suppose to coordinate with a candidate's campaign.
