Russian military analyst points to lessons from The Battle of Midway if Chinese and US carriers were to clash
At the epic Battle of Midway during World War II, victory or defeat rested on which side first spotted the other side’s carriers, and then dispatched an airstrike against the vulnerable flattops.
Unknown to the Japanese, US Navy cryptanalysts had cracked the Japanese naval code and determined that the primary target of the forthcoming Japanese offensive was Midway.
Moreover, the Japanese believed they had sunk the carrier USS Yorktown during the recent Battle of the Coral Sea.
Two advantages, that would make a difference.
Based on what happened at Midway, according to Konstantin Sivkov — a member of the Russian Academy of Rocket and Artillery Sciences — if US and Chinese aircraft carriers were to ultimately clash today, the US Navy would triumph.

There's no guarantee but in terms of USA vs Russia , nuclear conflict aside, the US would win.
There was an incident a few years back, early in the US administration, where the largest post-coldwar conflict took place (it was reported on wnu but barely on MSM).. basically what happened is unclear but 200 or so Russian soldiers- for whatever reason- tried to take a US base or came to close and got smoked. Outcome..200 dead Russians, 0 dead US troops.
Not saying it'll go that way or that it is representative. BUT.. Russian capabilities aren't that great when compared to eg USA or NATO or EU states or China. Russia's GDP is that the size of Italy, a small nation in Europe. BUT buying power wise the Russians go far and are very gifted mathematicians, engineers etc etc...
China is a joke, all countries join against it the power ended in a matter of a few years you can bet, they are not all that is propagated
