Russia Launches Fresh Wave Of Missile Attacks On Ukraine's Infrastructure

BBC: Eighth wave of Russian missiles hits Ukraine

Russia has fired a barrage of missiles at targets across Ukraine for the eighth time in eight weeks.

Residents of Odesa in the south were left without water and the whole of the Sumy region suffered a blackout.

Previous attacks have hit the country's energy grid, leaving millions without electricity and heat as winter arrives.

Ukrainian and Western leaders have condemned the attacks on infrastructure as war crimes, because of the harm caused to civilians.

WNU Editor: In the past two weeks all of my relatives who are still in Ukraine have lost power. I have one cousin who has a 2000 watt solar generator and she keeps her cell phone always charged. She lives in the center of Ukraine west of the Dnieper river. She did not answer her phone this morning. She is one of those who always answers her phone. Especially in this war. My gut (and fear) tells me that besides the electrical grid the communications grid is now probably being targeted.

The Ukrainians were warned of this conflict for years, but they just kept on at poking the bear. When the USSR got too close to the states via Cuba, Cuba was and still is getting hammered for allowing it. Now it’s Ukraines turn to get the hammer for allowing NATO to encroach into Russias backyard. The US set a precedent to justify the actions being taken by the east. Taiwan will be next.

War sucks. We used plenty of red and white phosphorus in Iraq and Afghanistan, I can attest to that.

You mean after the Bucharest according was ignored or Crimea was invaded? Any European nation would demand nato membership . The bear is a cub .

Cuba is not being punished for what happened in 1961 that was 61 years ago or almost two generations ago.

No Cuba is on the shit list for Angola, Nicaragua, Venezuela and drug smuggling. Cuba has never stopped fighting the US.

"Now it’s Ukraines turn to get the hammer for allowing NATO to encroach into Russias backyard"

I understand this talk. Backyard is shorthand or sleight of hand for sphere of influence.

How come when you look up sphere of influence, you come across the term neo-Imperialism?

Is Russia an imperialistic country?

for 2:22 No because these woke idiots like to coat reality with marxist jargon bs. Remember that is some woke left wing professor consensus of what that definition is.

Spheres of influence is a logical common sense way of conducting foreign affairs. It establishes boundaries and expectations of behavior.

No you cannot support Hungry (56). but you can support viet nam.

Support Czech (68) and you have WW3. But you can overthrow Chile (72)

Its not a perfect system but what else are you going to use.

A "rules based order". That's a joke. and everybody knows its a joke.

Give me a better system to use? In 1000 to 2000 years I have not read of a better one.

Lastly for the Fazman.... Yea like really, the Russians were going to give up Sevastopol? Home of the Black Sea fleet? Ok Maybe the US should pull out of Pearl Harbor or Diego Garcia. Ain't going to happen.

Oh by the way. This was part of the plan. The US and west knew the Russians would not stand for that base to be taken out of their control. It has key strategic value for the Russians

The US wanted the Russians to invade. But the Russians did not take the bait. The US wanted a war and had to push the Russians even farther to get what they wanted and in FEB 2022 they finally got this war.
